It is 16 if you do 2+2 x 4 but if i do in reverse ( 4 x 2+2), it is 10

By the way, 10 is 2+2x4 but if you do the otherside (2+2 = 4 (4 x 4) = 16 )

I have to explain, but welcome to the forum.
If we added first, we would get 16 because 2+2x4=16
But 4x2+2=10 since you multiply first.

because of PEMDAS 2 x 4 is 8 and you add the leftover 2, so you get 10
