Working client side entity animation

I would love to se that play entity animation would work on client side especially knowing that new joined players will always see the default animation even when the entity was triggered to play a different one via scripts.

Is this more of a bug report that players who join won’t see an entity’s current animation?

It is a bit of both
I reported the bug already in the forum as well as years ago at git.
I just would like to have an option to play different animation of an entity based on the player.
